SO Switch began life in 2005 as Money Hospital, which provided customers with advice and information on personal money matters. We are a part of Simply Online Media, a company that offers a range of technology-based solutions to help consumers find the best products, services and advice online. We decided to re-launch in 2012 with a whole new look, a new name and lots of exciting new products and features.

SO Switch is completely independent and is not owned by any of the companies offering products and services on the site, so our customers can be sure that all of the information we provide is unbiased.

Our mission is to help our customers understand their finances and stretch their money that little bit further by using comparison tables to get the best prices possible from our range. Through our partnerships with a range of specialists, we can offer customers expert advice on everything from credit cards to travel insurance.
